2008 Mehlville Garden Club News
Roche, Elizabeth M. (ECD) (nee Platte), passed away Sept. 5, 2008. Beloved wife of the late William F. Roche; loving mother of 3 daughters, Mary Roche, Catherine and her husband Robert Carey and Ann Roche; 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Angela Carey. She is survived by her sister, Marian Buschmann and brother, John J. Platte, aunt, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was a member of Mehlville Garden Club and St. Louis County Garden Club. Funeral from KUTIS Funeral Home (Affton) on Mon., Sept. 8, 2008 at 9 a.m. To celebrate Mass at St. Mark Catholic Church, 8300 Morganford Rd. at 9:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sun. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to St. Mark Catholic Church, Academy of the Sacred Heart - St. Charles or Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri, Inc. She was the FGCM Headquarters Chairman. Our thoughts go out to her family.
